Following studies in Giessen and Munich, Germany, Nice, France and internship at Medical College of Virginia Richmond, USA and McGill University Montreal, Canada he had medical training for internal medicine in the Department of Pulmonology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Radiology of Klinikum Muenchen-Bogenhausen. He specialised in respiratory medicine at the Department of Pulmonology at Klinikum Muenchen-Bogenhausen and Lungenfachklinik Muenchen-Gauting and has worked many years as a senior consultant at Lungenzentrum Muenchen-Bogenhausen in the field of respiratory medicine, thoracic oncology and sleep disorder.
Dr. Feurer has been in a private practice in Muenchen since 2013 as a specialist of respiratory medicine, allergology, sleep disorders and thoracic oncology.
He is married and the father of two children.

Experience
During medical training in internal medicine in the departments of pulmonology, cardiology, gastroenterology and radiology Dr. Feurer has gained a broad range of experience. He specializes in the field of respiratory medicine, sleep disorders, thoracic oncology and palliative care. As a senior consultant of the Clinic of Respiratory Medicine he was head of the study department and as the network coordinator he was in leading position to inaugurate the first Lung Cancer Center in Bavaria at Klinikum Muenchen-Bogenhausen. He worked as a medical audit expert of the German Cancer Society for Lung Cancer Centers.

Additional activities
He’s a certified expert for irradiation protective medicine by the Bundesamt fuer Strahlenschutz.
